Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, was inducted into the University of Texas at Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame on October 18, 2024.[1][2]
The ceremony occurred prior to the UT Tyler Patriots women's soccer team's match against East Texas Baptist University.[1]
Mahomes played for the Patriots from 2013 to 2016, appearing in 70 games and recording 31 goals and 14 assists.[1][2]
During her senior season in 2016, she scored 18 goals in 18 games, a program record at the time, including four hat-tricks that accounted for 12 of those goals. She had scored seven goals the previous year.[1][2]
As part of the induction, the Patriots women's soccer team received new kits and cleats branded with the Team Mahomes logo for the 2025 season.

Mahomes shared on Instagram: "Truly honored to be inducted into the UT Tyler Athletics Hall of Fame! This City and this School is a huge part of who I am today."[2]
Patrick Mahomes commented "Congrats!!!! Love you!", while teammate Travis Kelce wrote "HOF BRITT!!!! LFG!"[2]
After college, Mahomes played professionally with UCD Waves FC in Ireland's Women's National League in 2017. She and Patrick Mahomes are co-owners of the NWSL's Kansas City Current, which they helped launch in 2020.[2]
