WWE will tape episodes of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on June 29. The events mark the company's first televised shows at the venue in nearly 20 years. WWE announced the double taping on Thursday.

The last televised WWE event at the arena was a SmackDown in 2008. Visit Atlantic City president and CEO Gary Musich welcomed the return in a news release, calling it an exciting chapter in the city's evolution as an entertainment destination. Jim McDonald, general manager of Boardwalk Hall and a member of Oak View Group, highlighted the venue's history with WWE and expressed gratitude for partnering with local groups to host the shows.

Boardwalk Hall previously hosted WrestleMania IV in 1988 and WrestleMania V in 1989. The arena has staged numerous WWE events over the years.

Lineups for the tapings remain unannounced.
